In 1965 carpenter master Bernhard Schröder founded in Attendorn-Dünschede his first workshop which contained the complete frequency range of the carpenter skilled crafts. He transferred his place of residence and business seat to
Attendorn-St. Claas in 1977.
He hired his son Joachim Schröder as the first trainee who finally took over the family-owned company after his examination for master craftsman's diploma
on 1-8-1990.
The order situation and increasing technical requirements on the machine equipment required an increasing number of employees the expansion of the production area already 1991.
In February 1999 Joachim Schröder founded the Attendorner Fensterbau GmbH with his long-standing employee Michael Walkenbach.
Constituents for the company formation were professional experience lasting for years, technical competence as well as the readiness for new techniques and trends.This company formation required once more an expansion of the workshop on whose areas both the carpenter's workshop Schröder and Attendorner Fensterbau GmbH are placed now.
Today Attendorner Fensterbau GmbH is an education operation as well and has attached itself to the "initiative ProHolzfenster".
